Life Changer of the Year Nominees

A number of DSA staff have been nominated for the National Life Group Life Changer of the Year Award. Please visit the following site:https://www.lifechangeroftheyear.com/showspirit/schools to learn how to show support for our nominees – as they have continued to go above and beyond for the DSA community.

Georgia Student Wellness Survey

The Georgia Student Wellness Survey is an abbreviated version of the traditional Georgia Student Health Survey. Though participation in this survey is not connected to the CCRPI or any other rating, student participation and aggregate response totals for every middle and high school will be available to the public on the Georgia Student Health Survey Results site. Results from this survey will help schools determine certain risk factors and non-academic barriers to learning as well as inform community supports and interventions for students at our local school and across the state. We encourage your participation in the Georgia Student Wellness Survey

Weekly Update – Week of March 15-19, 2021

I hope you all were able to get out and enjoy our first taste of Spring this weekend. And speaking of Spring, don’t forget that we had to “spring forward” and move that clock up one hour today. Tomorrow, we will welcome our “A” cohort of students back into the building. For the first time in a little over a year, we will have students return to our Avondale Estates campus for face-to-face instruction. Although we will have some people in school with us, we will still have many at home engaging in virtual instruction. I am confident that our staff and students will do a great job of transitioning into hybrid instruction, just like they have over this past year. Please continue to stay engaged with us as we work to provide quality instruction even through the pandemic.
